Pricing and materials

I use mostly Ebony and Honduras rosewood and I am exploring native Irish and European woods such as Plum and Yew. I use boxwoods for protective and decorative mounts and I can use imitation ivory on request. All my metal work is done in brass.

D chanters are €1250.

D Prices

I supply a leather bag (made by Eoin Dillion) with connecting stocks which is €230.
I supply bellows made by Louis Ó Coileáin and they cost €295. And sometimes I have others in stock from other makers too.

PRACTICE SET — €1,775*

HALF SET — €3,775*

*above prices include a case and spare reeds.

FULL SET ——- €7,500 with a case and and spare reeds.

Other items,

Stop key as an extra when ordering a new chanter, €200. A new wooden chanter top including a stop key, €365.

All chanters come with a wooden top and 4 blocks for keys. Chanter keys cost €125 each (F, G#, Bb and C)

For pipes in D, tenor regulator €1,100. Baritone regulator €1,000. Bass regulator €1,400.

If you want regulators made by me for half sets made by another maker, there will be an installation or fitting fee involved. This will be assessed case by case because the time involved can vary from 10 minutes to a whole day.
